Welcome to purposeful living today.

Life is meaningful when it is lived in alignment with God's plan and purpose.

Being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus. - (Philippians 1:6)

This life is like a race.  For most of us, it isn’t a sprint.  It’s a marathon.  The longer we live the more we realize that life could end in the blink of an eye and we never know which moment may be our last.  Live every day and treat every moment like it could be your last.  Each day is a gift.  Treat it as such.

Sometimes life presents us with challenges that are incredibly hard. You feel worn down and unable to cope. You may feel so defeated that you're ready to give up, but remember you're not alone in these feelings. Many people before you have struggled with feelings of giving up, and they have emerged more resilient and fulfilled.

When you're feeling bogged down by the struggles you're experiencing in life, it's natural to throw your hands up and want to give up. It's exhausting when you're trying so hard to navigate the complexities of life. You may be going through a depressive episode, or perhaps you lost a family member. You might be struggling with the pain of separation or divorce. Many things happen to us in our lives that cause us distress. It's hard to remember at these times that life can also bring us joy. You might not be able to see outside of the darkness, but there is hope. What can you do to pull yourself out of this emotional hole? One action you can take is to reach out for the Word. God's Word addresses all situations. It's not easy to do this at times, especially when you're feeling depressed. But God cares about you and wants to see you well.

I will delight myself in Your statutes; I will not forget Your word. (Psalm 119:16)
The human brain is generally wired to giving up easily. It is wired for pleasure and not pain. Life most times in situations that require us to hold on teaches us “patience”. All we need and desire in life is a matter of time. Our key verse tells us that God completes what He starts. We can confidently lean on Him!

You can begin a relationship now with the Lord Jesus Christ by saying this prayer:

Lord Jesus Christ, I acknowledge that I am a sinner,  I believe in your death and resurrection.  I ask you to forgive me my sins,  I reject the devil and all his works and l welcome the Holy Spirit into my life.  I declare today that I am born again and I am a child of God in Jesus name. Amen.

If you just said that prayer I welcome you to God's family. Look for a Bible-believing church where God's word is taught and fellowship there.
