2 VERY IMPORTANT THINGS YOU MUST MANAGE TO ACHIEVE YOUR GOALS IN 2020

Welcome to purposeful living today.

We at fulfilpurposeblog wish you our esteemed readers a happy and prosperous new year.

I am so excited about this new year because a new year is a new chapter for us to fulfil our assignments on earth.

Why is a new year a blessing to you?

A new year is a blessing because it gives you the opportunity to:

  • Correct your priorities;
  • Renew your vision;
  • Redefine your purpose;
  • Set goals;
  • Make plans;
  • Get rid of your past and
  • Create your future.

 To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven. (Ecclesiastes 3:1 KJV).

it's a new year and I know you have expectations to achieve great things this year.

 Do you know why most persons will never be successful in 2020?

Success is a choice system, It is not a wish. You must be determined to succeed and be ready to abide by its principles.

To be successful this year, we must be able to manage these two things "TIME and CHANGE".

Time and change are the most difficult component of success that you can't stop and control in life but you can manage.

They are the raw materials of your life, to produce the future you desire.

Time:
Time is the indefinite continued
progress of existence and events that occur in an apparently irreversible succession from the past, through the
present, to the future.

Time is measured in seconds, minutes, hours,  days, weeks, months and years.

Time has three components; " the past, present and future".

Time spent can never be recovered.

It seems that there is never enough time in the day. But, since we all get the same 24 hours, why is it that some people achieve so much more with their time than others?

The answer is good time management.

“Time management" is the process of organizing and planning how to divide your time between specific activities. Good time management enables you to work smarter – not harder – so that you get more done in less time, even when time is tight and pressures are high. Failing to manage your time damages your effectiveness and causes stress. Learn 15 tips on effective time management.

I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me. (Philippians 4:13 KJV).

Change:

Change is the process through which something becomes different.

Change can be good or bad. It can be positive or negative.

6th January 2019 I had lost my dear uncle and godfather. Who played a very vital role in building godly character in me. He was the first mentor I knew, before I became exposed to other mentors. His death was a big loss to me, the family and the body of Christ.

This was a bad change I had to deal with, I could choose to hold unto the pain or let the pain go and change my perspective knowing that I have  to continue fulfilling my purpose because God will be happy with me and my Godfather will be proud of me from heaven.

Some of the Positive  changes I had in 2019 was the privilege of being elected to be a youth leader in my church, the president of NACC in my zone, a leader in my ministry/ unit as some church call it and other leadership positions.

I had to manage this positions with my personal life, blogging, relationship with God, relationship(s), my purpose, health, finance and personal development.

It was a positive change in my life that almost looked like a distraction from my relationship with God, I had to talk with my mentors who guided me on how to manage my time.

This year you will be faced with either a positive or negative change.

No matter how hard we try we can't run from change. It's constant in life.

We can't stop changes from happening to us, we can't stop changes such as death of a loved one which causes us pain. We can't stop changes in our physique as we grow, you can't look like a 10 years old at 60 years. Don't be resistance to positive change, you can go through the change process.

We must accept changes and learn how to manage them so we can  fulfil our assignment in life.
Have you had  negative change experiences, how did you move forward with your life? Please drop your comments. I will love to be inspired by your story.

The secret to life is the effective management of time and change.

So,  how do we manage time and change?

This we will  discuss in our next post... Stay tuned.

Have you been blessed by this post, please do share your comments I will love to hear from you.

I love and celebrate you.

Dear reader, you can't live a fulfilled life without the God who created times and seasons.  He is the one that can empower you to overcome every challenge in your life. He wants you to be great. He loves you and wants the best for you.

If you have not received the life of  Jesus Christ to be your Lord and personal Savior.

  You can do that right now,  He loves you and wants the best relationship for you.

You can begin a relationship now with the Lord Jesus Christ by saying this prayer:

Lord Jesus Christ, I acknowledge that I am a sinner,  I believe in your death and resurrection.  I ask you to forgive me my sins,  I reject the devil and all his works and l welcome the Holy Spirit into my life.  I declare today that I am born again and I am a child of God in Jesus name. Amen.

If you just said that prayer I welcome you to God's family. Look for a Bible-believing church where God's word is taught and fellowship there.
