Let no man despise thy youth; but be thou an example of the believers, in word, in conversation, in charity, in spirit, in faith, in purity. — 1 Timothy 4:12 KJV

A farmer goes to his farm and plants corn seed. When it's time for harvest, he will not be going to his farm to harvest cassava tuber. It will be foolish for him to have such expectations.

In life one of the important laws, is the  law  of planting and harvesting.
If you don't sow you will not reap. You reap what you sow, you reap more than you sow. You reap when you sow.

There are relationships today that do not glorify God. They never intended it that way though, they made mistakes that led them to such sinful lifestyle in their relationship today.

You sow what you reap

Dear, it's what you sow in your relationship that you will reap.

For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. — Romans 8:6 KJV

If you sow your relationship in the Spirit you will reap a lifestyle of the Spirit in your relationship. This is a lifestyle that expresses the nature of righteousness, holiness, love, joy peace, kindness, self control...

This makes your relationship to be God centered and focus on God— you will both live a life that pleases God in your relationship.

What do you discuss in your relationship?

How do you express love?

Where do you go, does it encourage sinful living?

A God centered relationship should focus on:

Leading each other to God not to yourself - emotional desires.

Guarding your heart, conversations and decisions in alignment to God's word.

Expressing love in a way that doesn't stir each other to sin.

Helping each other to avoid and flee from any appearance of evil.

A relationship becomes sinful when the focus is off God to each other — when you focus on your desires, you will find yourself expressing it. This is the expression of carnality — you focus more on the material, physical, social, economical and mental that's not in alignment with the will of God for your relationship.

Please the above are not wrong, they are necessary but your relationship with God is more important.

You can focus on  his present financial state and not respect him.

You can focus on her physique and not love her because you don't see her as attractive enough.

You cannot discuss and express an immoral lifestyle and you want to live in sexual purity.

The number one goal of your relationship should be to please God alone.

In your relationship focus on what God will focus us — focus on seeking first the kingdom (Matthew 6:33).

If you want a righteous relationship, then walk in righteousness.

There is nothing wrong in having fun together, but ensure the fun is not in  any way leading you to sin.

God does not give you any person to take you away from Him.

You must know that if your relationship will be Godly, you first need to have a personal healthy relationship with God, I don't mean going to church or being a leader in Church.

Choose to  sow the seed of righteousness in your relationship.

You can begin a relationship now with the lord Jesus Christ and experience His love for you by saying this prayer:

Lord Jesus Christ I acknowledge that I am a sinner. I believe in your death and resurrection. I ask you to forgive me my sins. I reject the devil and all his works and l welcome the Holy Spirit into my life. I declare today I am born again and I am a child of God in Jesus name. Amen.

If you just said that prayer I welcome you to God's family. Look for a Bible believing church where God's word is taught and fellowship there.
