Welcome to Purposeful living today.

Rejoice evermore. (1 Thessalonians 5:16).

In fulfilling purpose and destiny, Joy is required. Why do you need to be Joyful? Fulfilling purpose requires your creativity and where there is sadness, fear, and depression there is no creativity. They block your ability to be creative. They blind your eyes from seeing the greatness of God. So, you spend time worrying about your challenges instead of thinking about the solutions. We need to be joyful so we can be creative.
There is no Success without Creativity.

What does it mean to be joyful? Being joyful is a state of mind where you are excited no matter the challenges you are going through. Your excitement is in your confidence that God is with you wherever you are and in any situation you find yourself. Joy is reflected in your facial appearance, you cannot be joyful and you are carrying a long face.

But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy... (Galatians 5:22).

Joy is a fruit of your recreated human spirit. This means that every one that is born again has Joy in him/her. This Joy has to be cultivated and it is cultivated as we pray and meditate on the word of God - this gives us the consciousness to always be joyful because our flesh cannot be joyful. Being happy is not being joyful. One can be made to be happy through comedy, words of admiration, gifts, entertainment, and so on. Joy is not dependent on anything, one is not joyful because of the good people have done to him/her but because of the greatness of God.

Everything in life is about atmosphere. Success in fulfilling purpose is built on a joyful atmosphere.

We need to be joyful because joy releases strength in us to face any task. Whenever I maintain a joyful atmosphere, not thinking of how big what I am about to do is, I discover that I have enough strength in me to do that task. The Bible says the joy of the Lord is your strength.

Then he said unto them, Go your way, eat the fat, and drink the sweet, and send portions unto them for whom nothing is prepared: for this day is holy unto our Lord: neither be ye sorry; for the joy of the LORD is your strength. (Nehemiah 8:10).

The joy of the Lord is you being conscious that no challenge in your life is greater than God. You see God bigger than any and every challenge confronting you. This attitude will make you be strengthened because God dwells in an atmosphere of Joy. His presence refreshes you and in His presence, there is fullness of Joy.

Thou wilt shew me the path of life: in thy presence is fulness of joy; at thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore. (Psalms 16:11).

No matter the challenges that want you sad, just look at how great God is. You are not alone. So stay Cheerful and joyful. Joy is a good influence in any situation, and there are many ways we can express joy—with positive thoughts, pleasant words, a smile, even by using our sense of humor. We cannot wait for circumstances to bring us joy; we must make our own joy and let it act upon circumstances.

One of the paradoxes of Truth is that a happy heart draws to itself all that it needs for happiness. And we can keep our hearts happy by drawing on the wellspring of joy that is a part of our spiritual nature.
Any problem or trouble can be overcome by the power of joy. Some overcomings take longer than others.

But even if we are dealing with a problem of long-standing, that is no reason to despair or to give up hope of solving new problems that come along.

Being Joyful is the path to Victory.

If you want to win in life, "Rejoice in the Lord always: and again I say, Rejoice. (Philippians 4:4).

Now you know the reason I am in love with Joy.

God is the only Source and giver of Joy and you need a relationship with God to be to walk in the Spirit of Joy.

You can begin a relationship now with the Lord Jesus Christ and experience His love for you by saying this prayer:

Lord Jesus Christ, I acknowledge that I am a sinner, I believe in your death and resurrection. I ask you to forgive me my sins, I reject the devil and all his works and l welcome the Holy Spirit into my life. I declare today I am born again and I am a child of God in Jesus' name. Amen.

If you just said that prayer I welcome you to God's family. Look for a Bible-believing church where God's word is taught and fellowship there.
