THE BIG PICTURE

Welcome to purposeful living today. We are glad to have you here. Do have a blessed day full of Grace. Our today's topic is centered on "THE BIG PICTURE".

Experience has taught us that life is made up of ups and downs, good times and bad times, the beautiful and the ugly; but one thing we must take to heart is that it is not these situations that define us, but rather our attitude in the midst of these situations tells a lot about were we are going.

I declare the end from the beginning, and from long ago what is not yet done, saying: My plan will take place, and I will do all My will. Isaiah 46:10

When we hear the word, "the big picture", what comes to our mind? It is simply a phrase which usually implies that one should think of the future, or think of other parallel factors, and not focus on the small details. Our circumstances most times push us to focus on the now that we end up not planning ahead and looking unto that which lies ahead.

To be a champion, you have to see the big picture. It's not about winning and losing; it's about every day hard work and about thriving on a challenge. It's about embracing the pain that you'll experience at the end of a race and not being afraid. People think too hard and get afraid of a certain challenge. But it is not the challenge that make you but your ability to see the big picture. We must have dreams and expectations for our lives; it doesn't matter where you come from or how your life has been. We all have the right to dream.

No matter where you are from, your dreams are valid.

As many have said before, life is such a roller coaster of ups and downs. Why are all these negative things happening? Why can't I do anything right? My life is full of mistakes and hardships, just like the next person. However, I finally came to a realization that has changed my life. How to have true optimism.
Unpleasant experiences happens to us. We go through hell and back. Whether that's because of something small such as, we prayed for a particular request and didn't get it from God Or something larger such as physical ailments that burden our daily life. This is the important thing to do during hard situations. Live in the now; looking forward unto a brighter day. Don't focus on the next moment or the past, but the present. It could always be worse. We need to focus on all that we have, here in the 21st century. There is so much available to us in Christ who has given us all things while on the cross. Remembering all that we have truly can change every hardship we endure

What about the why? One of the ultimate questions in life is "why do bad things happen to good people?" I don't know the exact answer to that. But I do know this. Thus far, I HAVE MADE MY WAY THROUGH IT. I have benefitted and grown from every challenge that has come my way. I have realized that it's all about our perspective. We may not know why we had to endure a heartwrenching experience. But as we endure it well, we will always grow because of it.

Picture this. You're a young tree growing in a big forest, tall trees surrounding you. One evening, the wind starts to blow, it's raining, and you don't know if your roots can withstand all of the hardship. You have no idea how the tall trees around you made it to where they are now. Come the next morning, you made it! Your day is wonderful and happy because you were able to endure that hardship. The next night, the intense weather reoccurs. Blustering wind, hail, and piercing rain. Life is a struggle once again. But then something happens. You realize that the challenge you had the night before strengthened your roots and trunk; you are now better able to endure your next challenge. Since you were able to have that realization, your attitude improved with the challenges that lie ahead of you.

It's the same within our lives. You can't imagine how others made it through life, you're enduring hard challenges. Realize that your hardships give you strength. Because of the ills we go through, we can change our weaknesses into our strengths solely by attitude and perspective. One thing we must know is that when we take the one who loves us so much(JESUS CHRIST) out of the picture in our lives, life becomes a struggle for us but when we embrace His love for us, life becomes easy because we are guided and directed by Him who knows it all.
It is important for us to experience the negative so that we might know what positive truly is. We can't know sunshine without rain, or joy without pain.
I realized that we need to be grateful for the unpleasant situations. Even though it's hard, we will always benefit from it. Because of our mistakes, sad times, and hardships in life, we are better able to love and enjoy life. Not only when we make it through it, but as we live in the moment. In the end, my advice to you is to strive to fully love life. As we live in the now, let us also look forward to a brighter future ahead for us. The big picture helps us see beyond the now and also make us hopeful. Because of it, we are able to develop a perspective and attitude that is real, unique and rare.

When we are of God and for God, He fills us with great ideas for our lives and also gives us an attitude and perspective that is different from the world. We are able to look beyond the present even though we are living in it. We are made to see the big picture for our lives and not let small details overtake us.

GOD YOUR FATHER LOVES YOU DEARLY.

You can begin a relationship now with the lord Jesus Christ and experience His love for you by saying this prayer:
Lord Jesus Christ I acknowledge that I am a sinner, I believe in your death and resurrection. I ask you to forgive me my sins, I reject the devil and all his works and l welcome the Holy Spirit into my life. I declare today I am born again and I am a child of God in Jesus name. Amen .

If you just said that prayer I welcome you to God's family. Look for a Bible believing church where God's word is taught and fellowship there.
