Welcome to purposeful living today and the month of December, a month of Celebration for you and your family. My dear reader it is always a joy to have you here on this blog. I pray that you will Experience the favor of God this weekend.

Today we will end the series on CREATING THE FUTURE YOU DESIRE looking at the 5th way of Creating your future:

"And he spake a parable unto them to this end, that men ought always to pray, and not to faint" (Luke 18:1).

It is often said that when you don't pray you become a prey for the devil and in the above verse of scripture it is said men ought always to pray and not to faint, which means that when man refuse to pray he will faint. Many people are struggling in life because they refuse to take the responsibility of prayer. We have become too busy that will negate the power of prayer in creating the future we desire that because of most people being busy they lost touch with God and got the touch of the devil that led some to their early grave while those alive are living a life of frustration.

Humanity cannot carry out the agenda of God without His help. We need the hand of God in our lives to bring the picture of our future in Him into reality. God wants to direct your steps; prevent you from evil, wants to make you lie down in beside green pastures and lead you in the path of righteousness...

Prayer gives us the ability to communicate with God therefore building and intimate relationship with Him.

Prayer gives us access to our inheritance in Christ Jesus. This is why He died on the Cross and said IT IS FINISHED.

What was finished?

Your sickness, sin, poverty, failure, oppression and anything that does not Glorify God in your life. He said they are all finished, so all you need do is to receive what He came to offer in exchange through His death and resurrection. You receive in Christ Jesus salvation, Victory, healing, fruitfulness, sound mind, His righteousness...
If you don't pray you can't receive from His this is why He said:
" 7. Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you. 8. For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened" ( Matthew 7:7-8 KJV).

Life will throw challenges at us, what do we do  about them?
Do we become sad and cry like people without a Hope?
Do we live in fear doubting if God even exist?
I will tell you what to do when you are face to face with the storm of life after this story.

There was a woman who was very much loved by her husband but she was barren. Her husband married another woman who gave him children. This other wife began to laugh at her because of her barrenness. Oh! This made her to weep, she was always sad,  that she most times will not eat because of the pain she was going through. Perhaps there were night that she could not sleep, her pillow fill with tears and question the love of God for her. There was an annual meeting where they go and seek the face of God, when they are going there the husband will give this woman a double portion of her offering to God because he loved her dearly and to the other woman he will give her and her children their offering. The pain became unbearable for her as she would always cry and feel sorrowful because of the situation. Her deliverance came when in the bitterness of her soul she cried to God, she was tired of the situation and prayed to God and also made a vow to Him to dedicate the male child to God when He gives her. God gave her  the male child and she paid her vow to God, she became so fruitful that she had other children after that son. This woman is Hannah( 1 Samuel 1).
She created the future she wanted by praying to God for a change of story and God did answer her as He  will answer you today as you call upon Him in Jesus name. Amen.

Be a prayer warrior to birth all that God has deposited in you to reality not a worry warrior.

" 17. Pray without ceasing. 18. In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you" ( 1 Thessalonians 5:17-18 KJV).

So what do you do when faced it difficult situations in life?

You should Pray, Pray and Pray!
Yes dear! Even in that pain pray to God, if it will take you to cry before Him do it, but don't cry like someone without a Hope let your tears be a desperation for a change of story. Pray taking possession of what is yours in Christ Jesus.

My dear please stop crying, worrying and complaining, it will not solve the problem. Study, mediate on God's word and pray your way out of that challenge. God is your Father, you are not an orphan, so take the case to Him in prayers let Him handle it for you.
"The Lord hath appeared of old unto me, saying, Yea, I have loved thee with an everlasting love: therefore with lovingkindness have I drawn thee" ( Jeremiah 31:3 KJV).

People may have looked at you with disdain, you have become a laughing stock in your community like the woman with the issue of blood but you must remember Jesus says to you today, ...I am with you all the days (perpetually, uniformly, and on every occasion), to the [very] close and consummation of the age. Amen" (Matthew 28:20).

Prayer is the only way to change story to Glory, fear to faith.
Prayer is the only way to manifest the will of God. When you pray you tell God that you trust in Him. The bible records that even Jesus who is God when He came to earth in human form, He was always praying this is one example:
"Now in those days it occurred that He went up into a mountain to pray, and spent the whole night in prayer to God" ( Luke 6:12).

If Jesus could spend time praying to God, why will you not have time to pray?

Oh! It is my prayer that as you read this post the Holy Spirit will put a fire in your heart right now that will stir you up always to pray.

Through prayer we are empowered for the future and delivered from the agenda of the devil to hinder the manifestation of our glorious destiny.
"For [even the whole] creation (all nature) waits expectantly and longs earnestly for God’s sons to be made known [waits for the revealing, the disclosing of their sonship]" (Romans 8:19).

In prayer you commit God to do for you what you can't do for yourself. Your future will not come on a platter of gold, you will have to fight the good fight of faith.

Friends, we must know that life will not give us what we deserve but what will demand.

If you have the mindset of what will be will be without taking hold of the promises of God for you in prayer you will experience defeat, struggle and stagnation in life and destiny. I think John the Baptist can explain more of prayerful.
If your prayer Altar has been destroyed, it is time to build it again asking the Holy Spirit to help you and give you the spirit of prayer.
"Thou art my battle axe and weapons of war: for with thee will I break in pieces the nations, and with thee will I destroy kingdoms" ( Jeremiah 51:20 KJV).

God will not do anything on the earth without the partnership of a man. You are that man/woman. You are his battle axe in your generation. Don't give your life to chance, your life and destiny is prophetic! Glory to God!
Hope you have been blessed by this series? See you on Monday for another interesting series. Thank you sweet Holy Spirit!

You need to a relationship with God to create the future you desire and build a fervent and effective prayer life. Without Him you can do nothing (John 15:5).  Life is spiritual and humanity is in need of the help of divinity on earth. You need to partner with God so He can do for you that which you can't do for yourself.

You can begin a relationship now with the lord Jesus Christ by saying this prayer:
Lord Jesus Christ  I acknowledge that I am a sinner,  I believe in your death and resurrection.  I ask you forgive me my sins,  I reject the devil and all his works and l welcome the Holy Spirit into my life.  I declare today I am born again and I am a child of God in Jesus name .Amen .
If you just said that prayer I welcome you to God's family. Look for a Bible believing church where God's word is taught and fellowship there.
