THIS IS HOW PEOPLE SELL THEIR BIRTH RIGHT AT VERY CHEAP RATES WITHOUT KNOWING (PART ONE)

Welcome to purposeful living today.  When we look at the story of Esau and Jacob in the Bible we tend to say that God was partial by making Esau the elder brother serving Jacob the younger brother. What actually is it, that God made a path for Esau that he can't change from,  if God did then He would have contradicted His word that says ...Choose this day who you will serve... It will therefore mean that man is a robot and have no choice of his own.
Esau was a blessed man but he lost his heritage and position as one of the Patriarch of Israel. The God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob instead of Esau.
Let's look at some of the attributes that made Esau to fulfill the prophecy of serving Jacob before he was born and how we induce this attributes to our lives.
A. HE SOLD HIS BIRTH RIGHT
Esau was the first born son of Isaac and Rebecca. He sold his birth right to Jacob for a plate of Porridge.
Why did he exchange his birth right?
1. He was very hungry: Esau just came back from hunting and told his brother to give him from the food he was cooking,  but his  brother told him guy you have to give me your birth right.  A birth right is the inheritance on the first born son,  this entails all the father has; his properties , royalties, honor, blessings... This is all the first born possess. Esau knew his heritage and the promise of God on Abraham that he is a partaker of,  but he trivialized it for hunger. Was there no alternative for Esau, that he chose sell his birth right. There was an alternative choice for him,  but he was desperate and did not think before acting. He could cook by himself,  drank garri, bought something to eat... He could have done something else instead of selling his destiny.

How hungry are we in this world for the things that will ruin our destiny like Esau.  We are hungry for immoral relationships, rape,  cultism,  stealing,  indecent dressing,  unholy acts...
Yes like Esau we are very hungry because the devil has made these things look attractive and glamorous. That we fail like Esau to think through our decisions. We say to ourselves there is no other way but we forgot to seek JESUS THE WAY. There is an alternative to living an immoral life, it is not because there is no one to help you,  it because you forgot THE HELPER.  The devil serves us this food through ungodly relationships, the mass media,  our environment,  social networks...
Are we going to trade who we are as God's Princess/Prince and our inheritance in Christ for evil desires that our body craves for that tend to draw us away from God and destroying our destiny?
To be continued...
